DanmarCRM Scan privacy policy

Last updated 5 September 2026

DanmarCRM Scan does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind.

What stays on your phone

Your scans, the pages they contain, the text recognised on them and the names you give them are stored in the app's private storage on your device. They are removed when you uninstall the app. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

What runs on your phone

The one thing that involves Google

The camera scanning screen is provided by Google Play services on your device. The first time you use it, Google Play services may download that module, which is a request made by Google Play services and not by this app. After that it works offline. If you prefer not to use it, "Take a photo" and "Choose photos" do the same job without it.

Permissions

DanmarCRM Scan asks for one permission, the camera, and only at the moment you open its own scanning screen. If you never use that screen, you are never asked. The camera is used to photograph the page in front of you and for nothing else: no picture leaves the phone, and the app has no internet permission with which to send one.

It has no storage permission and no gallery permission.

Two more permissions come from the fingerprint prompt that locks the private folder, and four from the Android WorkManager library (wake lock, network state, boot completed and foreground service). All six are normal permissions, none of them ever prompts you, and they exist only so the private folder can use your screen lock and so text recognition can finish in the background.

Children

DanmarCRM Scan is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear at this address with a new date at the top.
